Bossier City , LA : One man was killed after he was hit by SUV at Intersection of Benton Road on wednesday , December 24th 2014

Bossier City police say a man died when he was hit by an SUV.

The accident happened around 5:10 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Benton Road and Greenacres Boulevard.

Witnesses told police the man was hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling south on Benton Road as he ran across the roadway going from east to west.

Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still attempting to identify the victim.
