Milwaukee, WI : Two police officers injured in Milwaukee crash on Thursday, August 4, 2016

Two police officers are injured after a crash in Milwaukee.

It happened around 10:40 p.m. Thursday near 35th Street and Thurston Avenue.

Police said a car driven by a 17-year-old girl turned in front of a squad car, causing a collision. Both vehicles were badly damaged.

A 29-year-old male officer and 22-year-old female officer were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Multiple occupants of the other car also suffered minor injuries.

Police told WISN 12 News that the crash happened while officers were responding to a nearby crash at 37th Street and Silver Spring Drive.
