SPRING VALLEY, OH : Man and woman killed in motorcycle crash identified on Sunday, October, 22nd 2017

The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the names of the man and woman who were killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday night.

Crews were called out to the crash on U.S. Route 42 and Spring Valley-Paintersville Road in Greene County around 7:00 p.m. Sunday night.

According to the OSHP, 23-year-old Brook Fudge and 25-year-old Sherill Cruea were on the motorcycle when it struck a car. The car, driven by 29-year-old Gregory Davidson, was attempting to turn left onto US 42 from Spring Valley-Paintersville Road when the crash occurred.

Fudge and Cruea were both pronounced dead at the scene. Both were wearing helmets when the crash occurred.

Davidson was treated at the scene for minor injuries and a woman passenger in the car was taken to Greene County Memorial Hospital where she was also treated for minor injuries. OSHP said both Davidson and his passenger were wearing seatbelts.

Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor in this crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
