A city woman was killed early Saturday in a motorcycle crash at Eighth and Green streets.

Ashley R. Vasquez, 19, was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m. at the scene, officials said. Officials said she was a passenger on the motorcycle, which was driven by a male whose name police did not release.

The crash occurred about 3 a.m., but details were not provided.

The Berks County coroner's office said an autopsy on Vasquez is scheduled for Monday morning.

The driver was taken to Reading Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
