Man killed while walking near John Young Parkway

A man was hit and killed walking near a busy Orlando intersection early Thursday morning.

Authorities are investigating the crash near John Young Parkway and West Colonial Drive that snarled traffic for hours.

The man was rushed to the hospital after he was hit, but he did not survive.

Police said they don't believe the driver was at fault.
