NORTH CHARLESTON, SC : Westbound lanes of I-26 reopen after crash, traffic improving on Wednesday, 24th March 2021

A crash on I-26 blocked two lanes and caused a major bac kup in the westbound lanes during the afternoon rush hour.
The crash was reported at 5:24 p.m. near Aviation Avenue, and left the two left lanes closed, according to the Highway Patrol.
Those lanes have since reopened. But traffic ended up stalled all the way to I-526.
The drive time to Summerville from downtown Charleston, as of 5:50 p.m., was approximately 84 minutes, down from 102 minutes reported at 5:30.
