Marion,NC : Two people were killed in a crash on July, Tuesday 18th 2017

McDowell County Emergency Services confirmed two people were killed in a crash on Tuesday.

Authorities said the collision occurred on Highway 226 northbound near Coxes Creek Road.

William Kehler, the director of Emergency Services, said two people were killed in the collision and one person was airlifted from the scene.

The names of the victims have not yet been released.
