SPOKANE, WA : All lanes of westbound I-90 reopen after a double fatal wrong-way crash on Thursday, 2nd May 2024

All lanes are open on westbound Interstate 90 after a double fatal wrong way crash prompted closures just after 2:30 Thursday morning.

24-year-old Megan McDaniel was driving eastbound in westbound lanes when she collided head on with 59-year-old Alan Chang's car. According to Washington State Patrol District 4 PIO Greg Riddell, the drivers of both cars were wearing their seatbelts, but they both died in the crash.
