A Lancaster man died after a car he was riding in hit another car head-on Sunday evening on U.S. 21 in eastern Chester County.
Jermaine Chandler, 34, sustained critical injuries in the collision, according to Chester County Coroner Terry Tinker. He was transported by helicopter to Palmetto Health Richland medical center in Columbia, where he later died.
According to Lance Cpl. Gary Miller of the S.C. Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:10 p.m. on U.S. 21 about 6 miles east of Richburg.
