Woodlake, CA : Woodlake crash victim identified as Sun Valley resident on Thursday, 11th August, 2016

A Sun Valley resident died in a crash near Woodlake in Tulare County on Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.

The CHP said Jose Sanchez, 41, was driving a 2016 Volkswagen east on Echo Drive when he missed a curve and crashed his car shortly after 6 a.m.

Sanchez’s vehicle slammed into a metal wire fence and overturned in a grass field. He was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, the CHP said.
