St.Louis, MO : Mississippi man died in three-car crash on Interstate 44 near Grand on Sunday, Sep 14, 2015

A multiple vehicle crash Sunday on Interstate 44 in St. Louis fatally injured one man.

St. Louis police say Bipin Shingala, 27, of Jackson, Miss., was pronounced dead at a hospital Sunday.

Police say the crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday on eastbound Interstate 44 near Grand.

A vehicle going east hit the rear of Shingala's car. Shingala's car then struck a third vehicle, which was passing him on the right.

Police say Shingala's car stopped after hitting the median.

No one else was injured. Police continue to investigate the crash.
