A man died Wednesday after his truck rolled at the Seven Mile ORV Park in Nine Mile Falls.

The crash happened about a half-mile into the park, which was muddy and slick due to recent weather conditions, in an open field that was below a steep hill from the park’s entrance.

Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Gregory said the man was not wearing a seat belt and was driving with a child passenger, who was wearing a seat belt, when he crashed.

The driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The child was treated for minor injuries and released.
