Annapolis, MD : Two pedestrians struck in Anne Arundel, one killed in Crofton on February, Sunday 4th 2018

Anne Arundel police say they saw a familiar pattern overnight Sunday as two pedestrians were struck — one of them fatally and the other by a police patrol car — while crossing busy roadways in the dark outside of crosswalks.

A Prince George’s County man was killed Monday morning, just seven hours after an unidentified man was seriously injured in two unrelated accidents.

Police said they responded about 2:01 a.m. Monday to a report of a pedestrian struck in the area of Route 3 and Crofton Boulevard.

Jesse Brent Ezzell, 31, of Greenbelt was struck by Rebecca Arden, 28, of Pennsylvania, as she drove a 2013 Toyota Yaris south on Route 3, police said.
