Brighton Twp, OH : Kenneth Boggs, 54, and Carl Frasher, 63 injured after car accident on Quarry Road in Brighton Township on Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2014

A two-car crash early Saturday afternoon sent two men to the hospital. About 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Kenneth Boggs, 54, of Stark County, was driving a Ford Focus northbound on Quarry Road near Garfield Road when he failed to yield at the intersection, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol. His car was hit by a Dodge Ram van heading westbound on Garfield Road and driven by Carl Frasher, 63 of Wellington. The force of the crash pushed both cars off the northwest side of the intersection, according to troopers. Both men were flown from the scene to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland with non-incapacitating injuries. Troopers are investigating the crash.
