MISHAWAKA, IN : A motorcycle crash on Tuesday, July 11, 2017

Police are trying to determine the cause of a motorcycle crash that left the driver seriously injured about 9 p.m. Tuesday on Logan Street near McKinley Avenue.

Police said there were two occupants on the motorcycle traveling north on Logan Street. The driver of the cycle lost control, and investigators were trying to determine if the motorcycle hit a curb and possibly a pole.

Police at the scene say that people saw the injured driver and rider after the accident occurred, but did not witness the crash.

The driver was transported to an area hospital with serious injures, while the rider's injuries did not appear to be as serious.
