REDDICK, FL : A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 on Thursday, 21st June 2018

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 north of Ocala Thursday morning.

The woman’s name was not immediately released, pending notification of her family.

Preliminarily, Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a BMW struck the woman’s car in the northbound lanes near mile marker 364 and sent it off the road. Her vehicle overturned and struck a couple of trees.

The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected through the sunroof of her car and died at the scene.

The crash occurred around 5:20 a.m.
