Annapolis, MD : A man was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Arnold on Thursday, July 20, 2017

A man was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Arnold Thursday afternoon, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

The department said firefighters responded to a report of an accident in the area of Ritchie Highway North and Jones Station Road around 3:25 p.m.A sedan had struck the rear of a box truck, the department said, injuring the 31-year-old man inside the car.

He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center to be treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

No one else was reported injured by the department.
