Pawtucket, RI: 12-year-old boy injured struck after being struck by a pickup truck from trick-or-treating on Friday night,31st October 2014

A 12-year-old boy was hospitalized at Hasbro Children's Hospital with serious internal injuries Friday night after being struck by a pickup truck around 9:15, and police have asked for help finding the driver. Major Arthur Martins said the red truck, believed to a 1980s-1990s vintage Ford, was last seen traveling south on York Avenue, where the boy was crossing near Walcott Street. Martins said the vehicle probably suffered damage to its front and passenger side, including damage to its right headlight. Shattered glass from the light was found at the scene.
