Belton,MO : Two dead after Cass County head-on collision on May, Tuesday 15th 2018

Two drivers are dead after a head-on collision in Cass County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

At approximately 7:40 p.m., the patrol's Twitter account reported responding to a fatal crash blocking the roadway at Holmes Road and 164th Street. They were joined on the scene by members of Kansas City's police department and the Cass County Sheriff's office.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Another was taken to a nearby hospital and later died.

As of 9 15 p.m. all lanes in the area were blocked.
