Baton Rouge, LA : 32-year-old man died in traffic crash at busy Baton Rouge intersection Thursday afternoon, December 29, 2016

A 32-year-old man died Thursday afternoon after a car crash at a busy Baton Rouge intersection.

Baton Rouge police said the driver, Jacob LaBauve, of Prairieville, didn't stop at a red light at Florida Boulevard and Lobdell Road, crashing his 2010 Ford F-150 into a 2011 Toyota Sienna.

Labauve then ran off the road and crashed head on into a tree.

He was taken to an area hospital where he died.

Police said neither alcohol nor drugs is suspected to have caused the crash.
