Portland, OR : Four people injured after head-on crash in Ridgefield Saturday night, August 6, 2016

Four people were taken to hospitals after the driver of a Mazda sedan unsuccessfully tried to pass the car ahead of it in a no-passing zone in Ridgefield, Washington, and struck a Mini Cooper head on around 7 p.m. Saturday, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

Rescue crews extricated two adults from both the silver Mazda and red Mini Cooper. All are in critical condition.

The Mazda driver was traveling eastbound when it crashed with the Mini Cooper in the westbound lane at 4419 NE 259th St.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit is investigating the incident.
