Stroudsburg, PA : Cresco man suffers burns in crash on Devil's Hole Road on Thursday, 25th August, 2016

This story has been changed to correct the manner in which the motorist was rescued from the vehicle crash and has been updated with information from the police.
A 65-year-old Cresco man was rescued from a vehicle that crashed and caught fire Thursday night on Devil's Hole Road off Route 940 in Mount Pocono, according to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.
Police say they responded to the call at 8:33 p.m. and found Andrew Kruizenga's vehicle upside down in the roadway and engulfed in flames. Police said they could hear someone yelling as they approached the vehicle. Police say they opened the rear door and pulled Kruizenga from the burning car with help from a passerby.
Police said Kruizenga sufferd burns to lower extremities and airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital at Cedar Crest.
