A Volant woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, state police said.
Kadi Shetter, 29, was driving an SUV on Perry Highway just north of Leesburg-Grove City Road in Springfield Township at 2:24 a.m., police said. The SUV left the east side of the road, and the front end of the vehicle struck a tree.
Shetter wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Mercer County Coroner’s Office, police said. The crash remains under investigation. An address for Shetter wasn’t immediately available.
State police were helped by Springfield Township Fire Department, Superior Ambulance Service and Mercer Auto Wreckers.
