Detroit Lakes, MN : Authorities investigate deadly crash in Otter Tail County on April, Thursday 13th 2017

A 16-year-old driver was killed early Thursday morning when his 2005 Chevrolet Impala collided with a 2012 Freightliner semi on Highway 210 near Vining in Otter Tail County.

The semi, which was westbound, traveled across the centerline of the roadway and struck the Chevy, which was eastbound.

The semi driver, identified as Jason Rudolf Vadner, 34, of Wheaton, Minn., suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash and did not require hospital treatment.

The identity of the deceased driver has not yet been released. There was no alcohol involved, according to the incident report.
