GEORGETOWN, SC : Georgetown restauranteur killed in Richland County crash on Monday, 22nd January 2024

A Georgetown restauranteur was killed in a crash in Richland County.

Tom Hall, founder of Between the Antlers, which specializes in coastal cuisine, passed away in a crash that happened along McCords Ferry Road.

“Our entire Antler family is devastated and there are no words to explain our grief. Please in the coming days keep Amy and their entire family in your prayers,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post.

Cpl. Tyler Tidwell with the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) said a Ford F-150 was traveling east on Bluff Road around 11:30 p.m. when the truck ran off the road onto McCords Ferry Road and overturned.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office identified the driver and sole occupant as 56-year-old Hall. He died at the scene.
