Three people died in state roadway accidents Wednesday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Bert John Hilber, 75, of Jamestown, North Dakota.

Hilber died in a Blaine County collision Wednesday, the patrol reports.

Hilber was dead at the scene about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday on State Highway 51A about 5 miles south of Southard, the patrol reports.

The patrol reports Hilber was stopped on a three-wheel trike motorcycle behind a tractor-trailer that was driven by Troy Dale Musil, 58, of Crescent. Musil had stopped to turn left at a county road. Then a pickup driven by Daniel Mark Roberts, 30, of Newcastle, struck the motorcycle Hilber was on. Roberts went to an Oklahoma City hospital where he was treated for injuries and released. Musil was not injured. Roberts and Musil wore seat belts. The patrol did not report whether Hilber wore a helmet.
