One person is dead following an auto pedestrian accident in North Charleston Friday night.
The incident happened in the area of Ashley Phosphate near Peppercorn Lane.
Shortly before 10 p.m. officers responded to a vehicle collision and a pedestrian being struck.
"The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene," NCPD officials said.
Police are continuing the investigation.
