PERU TOWNSHIP, OH : Teen LifeFlighted after running stop signTwo-vehicle crash on Sunday, 1st July 2018

A teenage girl was flown to the hospital with serious injuries after she ran a stop sign, causing a collision with an SUV with a 1-year-old passenger.The two-vehicle crash happened at about 6:47 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Peru Center and Snyder roads, in Peru Township, the state Highway Patrol’s - Norwalk post reported.

Benjamin J. Barman, 30, was driving his beige 2015 GMC Acadia southbound on Peru Center Road, when a silver 2014 Ford Focus driven by Matigan Jane Obringer, 18, failed to stop at a stop sign for westbound traffic on Snyder Road, reports said.

Obringer pulled in front of Barman’s vehicle, causing Barman’s SUV to strike the car in the passenger door and both vehicles slid off the southwest corner of the intersection.
