DENVER, CO : 1 arrested in Denver crash that killed pedestrian on Monday, 15th April 2024

Police said one person died and a driver was taken into custody on suspicion of vehicular homicide after a Monday afternoon crash in Denver.

It happened near West Mississippi Avenue and South Irving Street, according to the Denver Police Department. The department posted about the crash just after 4:30 p.m.

Police said a man was pronounced dead on the scene and one person was taken into custody “due to signs of impairment as a factor in this crash.” Police identified the suspect as James Corpuz, 56.
