ATLANTA, GA : Juvenile struck by car in hit-and-run Decatur on Tuesday, 9th January 2024

A juvenile was struck by a car in a hit-and-run in Decatur Tuesday morning, according to the city’s police department.

The incident happened near 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Commerce Drive and West Howard Avenue, police said. A red Toyota Sedan didn’t stop at a red light and hit the pedestrian, whose name and age have not been released.

The juvenile was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
