Menard County, IL : Ashland man died in motorcycle crash on State Route 123 just north of Neimeier Road on Friday, 13th September 2019

An Ashland man has died after a fatal traffic crash early Friday morning in Menard County.

According to Illinois State Police, Adam L. Miller, 45, was on a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle on State Route 123 just north of Neimeier Road at 1:27 a.m. when he “failed to manage a curve, ran off the roadway, and struck an arrow road sign.”

CPR was administered immediately by an eyewitness, according to a news release from ISP, and Miller was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield with life-threatening injuries. He later died, according to the news release.

The investigation continued Friday morning.
