LOUISVILLE, KY : LMPD searching for hit-and-run driver after man killed on Preston Highway on Monday, 25th March 2024

Louisville police are searching for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run Monday evening in the Okolona neighborhood.

At about 9 p.m., LMPD officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck in the 7100 block of Preston Highway near Chateau Lane, according to an LMPD news release.

Investigators believe that an adult man was walking on Preston Highway when he was struck by a car traveling northbound. The driver of the car never stopped to render aid and fled the scene.
