A woman died in a car crash on U.S. route 62 in Canton Friday morning. The crash happened at around 5:47 a.m. Two westbound cars collided, and one overturned. The driver of the overturned car, 61-year-old Donna M. Boals, of Canton, became trapped. She was freed by Canton firefighters and transported to Mercy Medical Center, but died of her injuries at the hospital. Canton Police report that alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
