Beatrice, NE : Man injured after an ATV wreck on S.W. 32nd Road south of Belvidere Avenue Thursday, August 25, 2016

A Beatrice man was flown to a Lincoln hospital after an ATV wreck Thursday.

Shortly before 6 p.m. members of the Beatrice Rural Fire Department, Beatrice Fire and Rescue, and deputies from the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to an ATV crash on S.W. 32nd Road south of Belvidere Avenue.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, the ATV was traveling northbound on 32nd Road, when it went off the road for an unknown reason and rolled over.

The ATV was driven by Ricky Ewing, 25, of Beatrice. Ewing was flown by StarCare to Bryan Health in Lincoln.

The accident is still under investigation at this time.
