SPARTANBURG, SC : Person killed in moped crash on U.S. Highway 29 on Sunday, 15th July 2018

The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office is investigating a deadly crash on Sunday.
South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 1:45 a.m. on July 15 when the driver of a 2004 BMW SUV struck a moped from behind on U.S. Highway 29, near Hadden Heights Road.
Both vehicles were traveling northbound on the highway when they collided.
The driver and the passenger on the moped were ejected, and the passenger was pronounced dead on the scene.
