SANDUSKY, OH : Motorcycle crash kills man, injures wife on Sunday, 1st July 2018

A man was killed and his wife injured tonight after both were thrown from a motorcycle when it ran into the back of an SUV in Sandusky.The two-vehicle fatal crash, which remains under investigation, happened at about 8:32 p.m. Sunday on Cleveland Road, east of Remington Avenue, Sandusky, in Erie County.

Dale Thompson, 40, of Elyria, was driving his 2011 Ford Escape eastbound on Cleveland Road when he came to a complete stop in the roadway due to traffic stopping in front of him.
