Brentwood, CA : Three people injured in a rollover crash near the Clayton-Brentwood border on Monday afternoon, August 8, 2016

The California Highway Patrol reopened Marsh Creek Road hours after three people were injured in a rollover crash Monday afternoon.

A pickup truck overturned around 4:58 p.m. on Marsh Creek Road, near the Clayton-Brentwood border, said CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett. No other vehicles were involved.

Police shut down the road from Deer Valley to Morgan Territory roads at 5:21 p.m. The CHP started one-way traffic control around 5:44 p.m. The road fully reopened at 8:10 p.m.

Three people were taken to John Muir Medical Center for treatment, Bartlett said. At least one patient suffered major injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
