Meriden, CT : Pregnant woman injured after I-91 crash in Meriden on Sunday, April 3, 2016

A pregnant woman was taken to the hospital after a two-car collision Sunday on Interstate 91 in Meriden.
State police said the crash occurred about 4:45 p.m. on the southbound side of the highway, just north of Exit 17. One pregnant woman was taken to an area hospital, fire dispatchers said. State police described her injuries as minor.
State police closed the right lane while assessing the damage and clearing the cars from the road. Both cars were towed from the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
