Police say the operator of a motorcycle that appears to have been stolen has died in a crash in Fitchburg. Police say the motorcycle struck a utility pole on Canton Street at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The operator was found with serious injuries and transported to the hospital, where he died around 1 a.m. Thursday. He was not wearing a helmet and his license had been revoked. No name was released.
