Sylmar, CA : One person killed in two cars and a truck crashed in Newhall Pass on Monday January 11 2016.

Two cars and a truck crashed on a freeway transition road entering the Newhall Pass Monday, and at least one person was killed.
An SUV flipped over as it collided with a sedan and a large truck on the transition road from the 210 Freeway to the northbound 5 Freeway in Sylmar, according to California Highway Patrol officers. Other cars may have also plowed into the wreck, the CHP said.
People in several dozen vehicles were left stranded on the curving transition road.
All four lanes of traffic on the westbound 210 were diverted to the one lane ramp to the southbound 5.
Traffic on the 210 was stopped and backed up more than three miles.
