DAVIS JUNCTION, IL : Loves Park man dies in crash on state Route 72 East and rolled on Tuesday, 17th July 2018

A Loves Park man died around 8:11 a.m. after he was thrown from his SUV when it went into a northside ditch on state Route 72 East and rolled.

Stephon Pratt, 22, was westbound in the 14200 block, just east of the intersection with state Route 251, the Ogle County Sheriff's Department said in a news release this morning.

Pratt was not wearing a seat belt. It's not yet known if speed was a factor, Deputy Rob Gemmell said.
