Lakewood,NJ : Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on December, Monday 25th 2017

A suspect is being questioned by police after a fatal hit-and-run on Cedarbridge Avenue Christmas night, according to township police.

The victim, an adult male, was alive at the scene but was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Lakewood Police Sgt. Mike Young.

The department is withholding his identity from the public pending the notification of his family.

The incident took place on Cedarbridge Avenue at the intersection with Dr. Martin Luther King Drive at about 7:30 p.m.
