Stuttgart, AR : 20-year-old male killed in wreck on U.S. Highway 79 East and Superior St. on Saturday, August 13, 2016

A 20-year-old male, of Stuttgart, was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday at 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 79 East and Superior St. in Stuttgart.

Dilion Ray Rhine, a white male, who was driving a 2002 Pontiac, was traveling northbound on Highway 79 when he crossed the center line striking Bejamin H. Roswell, 33, of Stuttgart, who was driving a 2002 Chevrolet, as he was traveling southbound on Highway 79.

According to the Arkansas State Police preliminary crash summary released Sunday, Rhine was pronounced dead at the scene by Arkansas County Deputy Coroner Bill Barnett. His body is being held at Turpin Funeral Home. Roswell was injured and taken to Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart for treatment.

Weather and road conditions were described as wet and cloudy, according to investigating officer Stuttgart Police Department Det. Josh Addison.
