Tucson, AZ : Four people injured in a two-vehicle collision on Tucson's northwest side early Tuesday morning, August 2, 2016

Four people, including three children, were injured in a two-vehicle collision on eastbound Interstate 10 near Twin Peaks early Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Northwest Fire responded to a 911 call about the crash at about 2:30 a.m., and arrived to find a woman and three children complaining of injuries, said department spokesman, Capt. Brian Keeley.

The family had all been inside of a vehicle that sustained significant damage, and were transported in stable condition to a local hospital, Keeley said.

The only occupant of the second vehicle was the driver, who denied injuries and wasn't taken to a hospital, Keeley said.

Eastbound lanes of I-10 were restricted for about an hour, while the Arizona Department of Public Safety investigated and cleared the scene, Keeley said.

No information about the cause of the crash is currently available.
