CHESHIRE, CT : One motorist was killed following a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday, June 27, 2017

One motorist was killed Tuesday following a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Interstate 84, state police said.

The crash happened at 4:45 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near Exit 27, the State Police reported in an email. Four were treated for non-life threatening injuries at local hospitals.

Police said all lanes were opened around 9:15 p.m.
