Ketchum,ID : Hailey mayor injured in bicycle accident on October, Monday 23th 2017

Hailey Mayor Fritz Haemmerle sustained what are described in a news release from City Hall as “moderate” injuries from a bicycle accident while on vacation in Utah this week. “Mayor Haemmerle is undergoing treatment for some broken bones in a Utah regional medical center,” states the news release
Following Idaho law, City Council President Don Keirn will assume the authority of the mayor in the absence of Haemmerle. The city of Hailey’s next City Council meeting is scheduled for Nov. 13“Mayor Haemmerle is hopeful that he will be presiding over that meeting and all city matters before that time,” states the news release.
