Hartford, CT : I-91 south closed for hours in Hartford after truck crash spills lumber across highway on Tuesday, 24th November, 2020

Southbound Interstate 91 was shut down for more than four hours Tuesday afternoon in Hartford after a tractor trailer truck carrying lumber tipped and spilled its cargo across the entire highway, forcing traffic to be diverted down into the capital city and causing long delays.
The crash happened just before 2 p.m. between Exits 29A and 27 and the did not reopen until more than four hours later after crews cleared the lumber, the Department of Transportation cameras in the area showed.
The Massachusetts man behind the wheel of the truck suffered minor injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment, according to state police.
