Two people died Thursday morning in a crash in Massachusetts that apparently happened during a chase involving Enfield police officers.
A pickup truck and mail truck smashed into each other at about 11:30 a.m. just over the state line in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Two people died in the crash, but officials have not identified either as of late Thursday afternoon.
Enfield Police Chief Alaric Fox, who said he only has preliminary information, said it appeared Enfield police were trying to stop a car at the time.
