Jacksonville,FL : A 59-year-old woman was killed on April, monday 24th 2017

A 59-year-old woman was killed early Monday night in a hit-and-run on Interstate 95 in downtown Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

But troopers have tracked down a car believed to have been involved as the investigation continues, according to the Highway Patrol.

Deborah Lee Tompkins of Jacksonville was trying to cross the interstate at Forsyth Street about 6:50 p.m. when a Toyota Corolla northbound in the outside lane hit her, the Highway Patrol said.
