Beloit, WI : 89-year-old Milton woman died in a three-vehicle crash in Janesville on Wednesday, August 31, 2016

An 89-year-old Milton woman died in a three-vehicle crash around 3 p.m. Wednesday in Janesville.
A Janesville Police Department news release stated a vehicle driven by Roberta Kerr was westbound on East Racine Street and made a left turn in front of a truck that was eastbound on East Racine Street. The truck was being operated by a 70-year-old Darien man, who struck the passenger side of Kerr's vehicle. Both vehicles then struck another vehicle that was stopped at the exit of SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital. An 89-year-old female passenger from Milton, whose name has not been released pending family notification, sustained fatal injuries.
Kerr and the driver of the third car were treated for non-life threatening injuries at St. Mary's Hospital. The Darien man was transported to Mercy Hospital by ambulance and was examined for non-life threatening injuries.
Kerr was cited for failing to yield right of way while making a left turn resulting in the death of another according to Janesville Police.
